I believe it was a regularly scheduled flight. My wife booked it. What was interesting is that flight was loaded down wih cargo/provisions for all of the lodges on North Andros.

That's good to know. Was that a regularly scheduled flight or a charter flight?

Wife and I took Watermakers from Fort Lauderdale to Andros last December. Once on Andros, we were the only ones passing through customs which was sweet! shrt ride to Kamalame and we were in heaven. The ride home saw us fly non charter thru Nassau and boy what a difference with a long wait with HUNDREDS going thru customs.

That certainly sounds good... I'd love to do it some day. Of course, the air fare is... um... pricey... $1,500 was the cheapest to Rarotanga that I found from LAX and that doesn't include the shuttle. That's more than my entire last trip cost! Any tips for getting to Aitutaki?

To Aitutaki, Cook Islands you have 1 flight a week with Air New Zealand from LAX to Rarotonga then the shuttle flight 3 times a day on Air Rarotonga. Not easy to get to but big bonefish. Come join me on the true pursuit of glory.
