Florida – 2014
My wife and I, along with our 9 month old son, headed to Hawk’s Cay Resort on Duck Cay/Marathon. It wasn’t a fishing trip, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t get a day of fishing in with guide Derek Rust and Dan Dow from the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust.
I didn’t even look for bones. Instead, we looked for tarpon and when that shut off we switched to snook and reds.
I finally connected on a nice red and got to see the beauty that is the Everglades.
