I recently sent in a pair of beat down, worn out flats boots. I asked for repair or credit or exchange.
Yesterday, in the mail, I got these.
Much fast that I could have hoped and brand spanking new.
Patagonia is pricy, but you appear to have the right to exchange them forever. Which justifies the premium price by a fair bit, I’d say.

They make great stuff.
The best of the best in the clothing industy. No question about it.
Why would you expect a replacement for a pair of worn out boots? Patty also gives more money to fish advocates than any other brand, another reason to buy their product.
They give a lot to a lot of really outstanding orgs. I didn’t expect them to give me a new pair of boots, they chose to. They over-deliver on customer service and that gets people like me to go out and buy more Patagonia gear. There is a method to their madness and it has made them a very successful company. I’ve tweeted, blogged and facebooked about what a great company they are. They didn’t know I had this forum when they sent me the boots… they just are going above and beyond and when you do that, good things happen.
