Bonefish killed by Cuda… I’ve had it happen and I wanted revenge. An angler at Water Cay (new-ish lodge on the North side of Grand Bahama, yeah, I said the North Side)managed to pull it off. Found this at Fly Paper.

While I understand the revenge thing – cuda are such great sportfish that I often cannot bring myself to kill them
I will often stick them with a larger system and +10′ bonefish imitation fly and then release them figuring this is enough of a lesson
Yeah, I’m not really in favor of killing fish just to kill them. They are fantastic gamefish and I very much want them swimming around out there. Top predators are important for the health of the ecosystem.
