OK, so, back in December I had several dozen flies land in my lap… well, they came in a box really, probably best they didn’t actually land IN my lap… barbs and all.
Anyway, I got a bunch of flies and I’ve been pondering a good way to distribute them to folks… good folks like you… you are good folk, aren’t you? Sure you are.
I’m figuring I’ll do a photo contest and that contest will be done on Facebook, as it’s the easiest way to get folks to upload their own photos. Upload a photo and whoever has the most “likes” at the end of February will get four dozen flies.
That there is a lot of flies... a LOT of flies.
So, put up some fish and let’s have some fun.

Ha… yeah, some folks are not Facebook people… my wife quit after I tagged a pic of her in a bikini (she’s hot, by the way). Oh well.
Yeah. I tried to talk my guide buddy into joining, thinking it might be good for business, you know. His answer, “Dude, if you want anyone to EVER go fishing with me again, you don’t want me on facebook… some of the pictures out there of me… man!”
I’m still not sure what he means and I cherish my ignorance.
It would be good for business… so many folks are on there these days… I get a lot of traffic for the blog that way. FB has been fun. No complaints here.

Yeah, I know I’ll have to sooner or later, but for the moment I’m trying to hold off. I can barely handle emails, voicemail, texts, and updating my blog 😉 You’ll be one of the first to know I’m on there. No worries.
Oh, yeah, and I’ll have to pretty much keep it a “business” related page so I don’t have to “friend” all my friends I see all the time anyways but don’t actually fish.
