Now, I’m going cheap for my Jan. trip, but I got to wondering what the price comparison runs for catching a bonefish. For the purpose of comparison I’m looking at 7 nights, 6 fishing day packages.
- Mars Bay – South Andros – Double, $4,500 – Single, $3,600
- Big Charlie’s Lodge – Andros – Double, $3,600 – Single, $5,625
- Peace & Plenty – Exuma – Double, $2,058 – Single, $2,952
- Pelican Bay – Grand Bahama – Double, $3,250 – Single, $5,695
- Bair’s Lodge – Andros – Double, $4,550 – Single, $7,280
- Mangrove Cay – Andros – Double, $4,400 – Single, $5,400
- North Point Riding Club – Grand Bahama – Double, $4,900 – Single, $7,200
- Turneffe Flats Lodge – Belize – Double, $4,115 – Single, $5,626
- Blue Horizon – Belize – Double, $2,350 – Single, $4,030
- Christmas Island Outfitter – Christmas Island – Double, $2,220 – Single, $2,570
- Los Roques, Los Roques – Double, $3,755 – Single, $4,420
- Casa Blanca/Playa Blanca – Mexico, $4,365 – Single, $5,990
Hmmm… the price of a bonefish seems to vary dramatically and it sucks if you are a guy going fishing by yourself. That’s what my take away is.

I like your blog and thought the reception you got at the flyfishing forum wasn’t the most friendly.
I’ve fished with this guy a bunch of times and he’s great. It’s a real out island experience and you can’t beat the price. Email me if you have questions about the place or the island. Please do not post my response.
